Great Global Greyhound Walk 2026

Greyhound Trust Shropshire & Borders Great Global Greyhound walk will start from the Canal Wharf area in Ellemere at 11.00am on Sunday 27th September 2026.

The theme this year is "Mystical Mutts" and there will be a treat bag for the best dressed sight hound. Our kennel greyhounds will be out with our volunteers so come and meet them and us and find out about greyhounds as pets.

All Sighthounds are welcome to join us, the walk will go thorugh Ellesmere down to the park and mere stopping for a coffee before we return.

Please note there are various car parks in Ellesmere, most pof which charge a fee for parking. The event itself is free, but we do accept donations for our kennel hounds and our 2027 calendar will be on sale at the start of the event.
