Gizmo

Meet Gizmo, racing name Gizmo Blake, who is a handsome 7yr old lad (DOB 29/06/2018). Gizmo joined us from our South West Wales branch where he seemed to get overlooked in favour of other greyhounds. Although Gizmo is 7yrs old no one has told him that and he's a bouncy happy lad who loves having a play in the paddock. That's perhaps why he's been overlooked as older hounds tend to be picked by older people. Gizmo isn't really that sort of greyhound and would likely to be too strong for an older person.  Gizmo has had a rough time due to a welfare issue and has unfortunately spent all of his 7 years in kennels. 

Gizmo now needs some one to give him a chance, he really deserves a shot at a loving home with someone who will be there for him and enjoy his enthusiasm. He walks quite well on a lead but can become a little excited around other dogs particularly if they are off lead and running about. He would benefit from more training in this respect but has proved he can walk with other breeds of dog once he gets to know them. Gizmo could be homed with another larger breed dog, probably a female, as he doesn't really like being left on his own. He'd benefit from someone who is around a lot of the day and we think he'd be too much for small children. Gizmo is not suitable to live with cats or other small furries.

He is a friendly, playful boy who enjoys a fuss. He will jump into the car and enjoys a trip out.
