Belle

Belle, racing name Burgess Cutie, has sadly been returned to us after 3 1/2 years in her home. Her original owners had a new baby and Belle, although good with older children seemed to be unsettled and unbeknown to us was passed on to a new owner. We think the re homing and lack of a routine in her new home unsettled Belle and her new owner decided to give her up. Belle came back to us in order to secure her future and to allow us to look for a new more suitable  home for her.

Belle is now 8yrs old and we would love to see her go back into a home environment as soon as possible. She has however settled happily into kennels again for now. She will have a dental before being re homed but otherwise she is in excellent condition. Belle is a bit of a quirky girl and although generally good with other dogs she can growl alarmingly at first, especially if other dogs come at her a bit too full on. However once she has reassured herself that the dogs are friendly she will happily walk with them.

She is a very affectionate girl, who loves to put her head in your lap for a proper cuddle. She walks nicely on the lead, travels well in the car and enjoys a day out. Belle likes a routine in her home and once settled can be left for a few hours. We think Belle deserves a home with someone around a bit more, as she loves people.  Belle has had a lot of upheaval in the last few months so will need time to settle in a new home. She would benefit form someone who has had dogs before, who can give her a routine and the attention she loves. She could be homed with older children but we do not think she'd get on with cats or small furries.

If you would like to meet Belle please do get in touch, we really do want this to be her last home so we will only look at people who are serious about having her and are committed dog owners.
