Scally

Greyhound Trust Shropshire & Borders Scally

Meet Scally, or Sally to some of her friends! Sally has recently joined us to look for her new home, her racing name is Makeit Scally and she is  2 1/2 years old (DOB 08/07/2023). She is quite small and such a pretty blue girl, we think she'll have lots of admirers. Sally is a cheeky girl who loves to fling her toys about so would appreciate a garden in her new home or somewhere secure to have a run and a play now and again.

She walks nicely on the lead and has been happy to meet or ignore other dogs out on her walks. She can be a stubborn girl if she doesn't want to go somewhere, usually getting in the van, so we would recommend a three point harness for her.  She's a very sweet girl who loves a fuss. She plays happily with my greyhound bitch, so would love another greyhound or larger dog in the house but would also be happy on her own with someone around at least part of the day. She is more confident out on walks with another dog but given time is also ok on her own. She would make a nice family dog as she seems ok around older children. She isn't cat friendly and does have a chase instinct so can get a little excited, wanting to run around other dogs running loose or chasing squirrels in the wood. She is only young but has also learnt how to chill in bed when play time is over.

We don't think it will be long before she's snapped up so if you are interested in her do get in touch.
