Puma

Meet our new boy Puma, racing name Distant Puma, who is 5 1/2 years old (DOB 15/09/2020). Who doesn’t need a tall, dark, handsome lad in their life?!!

He’s a lovely boy who loves to lean in for a fuss at every opportunity. He’d rather have cuddles than play with the toys in our paddock. He can be a little considered at times, preferring to weigh up the situation rather than rushing in. He does enjoy his walks though and has been ok with the dogs we’ve met so far, including my daughters spaniel. He travels well and gets on with the other greyhounds so could make a good second hound. We also think he’d be happy on his own and is quiet in the kennel so should be ok to be left for part of the day. We are still assessing him and will put more info and photos as we get to know him. We do not think he could live with cats but slightly older children should be ok.

We know he’s a big black lad so will likely get overlooked but he’s got the laid back personality the true greyhound lovers adore.
