Greyhound Trust Shropshire & Borders Flash

Meet Flash, racing name Eileens Flash, who has now joined us in Shropshire. Flash is 3 years old (DOB 19/08/2022) and is a very friendly and affectionate greyhound girl. She’s very pretty and has the most amazing fold away ears .

Flash is quite good on the lead and enjoys her walks, but she can become a little strong if she seems a squirrel or small furry she thinks needs chasing.  Flash is a typical greyhound, a keen chaser so she can be wound up by things that move, this includes cats and might also include small dogs or dogs running off lead that she wants to join in with.  We would encourage any new owners to let her wear her muzzle out walking until you get to know her. She is also a typical greyhound in that she loves her bed! She can be left for short periods and would be happy as an only greyhound or possibly sharing with another greyhound/sighthound in the home.

She really is a lovely girl, she loves people,  fuss and attention, and is confident going out to new places and meeting people. She will play with you and her toys in the garden and she is happy to let you take toys from her to throw for her - although she doesn't always bring them back! She is pretty chilled at home and gentle enough not to jump up. She could live with older children, you might just need to be aware she may steal toys that squeak or make silly noises if you have younger children.

Flash really deserves her spot on a sofa and is happily waiting to meet you if you are interested in her. She did have an injury which we will give more details on when you meet her.
