Well our volunteers are busy planning events for the summer if we ever get some sunshine. We were due to be attending the Family Day at Reasheath College on 12th May but this event has been cancelled due to the carparking field being waterlogged. We will be at Oswestry Market on !5th May so hopefully the weather gods will be kind.

Plans are in place for our Annual Fun dog show at Whixall On August Bank Holiday Sunday. Rosettes are ordered. We will be awarding them down to 6th place this year.

Since moving from Primcurch kennels Lesley and Family have been doing a great job with the dogs and she has a few volunteers who go and help with the walking. If anyone is interested in helping out please contact her. There have been some very boggy morning walks so we are hoping the paths will dry out soon. We are planning more Walk and Talk events but the ground has just been too wet.

Look under EVENTS to see what is happening and when,

Despite the weather we are still finding loving homes for ex-racing greyhounds and raising funds to support them in their journey to their sofa!
