Meet Flora, racing name Forever Yours, she is 3 yrs old (DOB 06/11/2018) and is now looking for a sofa to call her own. She is a very pretty, little brindle girl and once she gets to know you she loves a fuss and a cuddle.

Flora was tried briefly in a home in a busy town environment and she found the whole experience a bit over whelming. We have realised she is nervous in a garden that is overlooked by other people and properties to the extent that she will try to escape - so high fencing is a must for this girl. She did settle well in the house but was a little nervous on her walks, she can be strong on the lead if she is spooked by something (she didn't like a group of runners coming towards her) or if other dogs are running about and she wants to join in.

Flora has been out on walks with us and generally walks nicely on the lead,  she's been very good with the other dogs she's met - often a little wary of them at first. We feel she needs to be homed in a quiet rural area so she can learn about the outside world at a slower pace.  She has shared a kennel while racing so would benefit from another greyhound or larger breed dog in the house which will also help boost her confidence. With the right introductions she could probably live with a small dog but we do not think she's cat friendly. She is very polite so may be able to love with older children who aren't too boisterous and are used to dogs.

We are sure Flora will make a lovely pet for someone with a little time and patience, she was quiet over night and did sleep on her own without fuss. We think Flora would settle best in a home with someone around for most of the day or with another dog for company.

If you are interested in meeting her do get in touch.
