Meet Casper, racing name Elderberry Fury, who is just two years old. Casper is a lively young lad who didn't fancy the idea of racing and preferred to look for his new sofa as soon as possible. He is a lovely boy, very happy to meet people and enjoys a fuss and a cuddle. He walks nicely on the lead but can be nosey if he sees something new that he thinks he needs to investigate or stand and watch for a while. Casper can get excited when other dogs are running about or yapping at him and he's not a fan of small dogs. He will happily walk past dogs on the lead and one's that leave him alone. He's a young boy who has plenty of energy but he's learning all the time and enjoys a trip out in the car. He loves treats and food but will help himself, so some training will be needed once he's in a home environment. Casper would benefit from a home with someone around most of the day as he's not a fan of being on his own, although this may improve with some training. He could live with another greyhound, he gets on really well with our girls and enjoys their company. Casper was tried briefly in a home where he didn't like being shut in at night so someone who doesn't mind him being in or near the bedroom would be ideal. He loves his walks and would benefit from a garden to play in, he could possibly be homed with older children who are used to bigger dogs but he's probably a bit bouncy for young children and doesn't like them screaming. Casper is not suitable to live with cats or small dogs.
