Moving Kennels

We are pleased to announce that Greyhound Trust Shropshire & Borders will be keeping greyhounds at Primchurch Boarding and Re-Homing Kennels, Prees Heath, Whitchurch.

The kennels we had been using at Timoden in Cheshire are sadly closing at the end of November so we have been working hard to find more local kennels to move our hounds to. We would like to thank Mandy and her volunteers at Timoden for all the hard work they have put in over the past few years looking after our hounds. We wish Mandy well for the future.

The kennels at Primchurch were taken over by Su and Paul about 18 months ago and have been undergoing refurbishment and improvement. The kennels all have outside, covered runs and there is a paddock and soft bark area for playtime. By moving the dogs back to Shropshire we are hoping that we can be more involved with the kennels than has been possible with Cheshire due to distance.

King was moved into his new kennel last week and the other boys currently in Cheshire will be moved in the next couple of weeks.

We are looking forward to working with Su and Paul promoting and finding homes for these gentle creatures.
